My Virtue.

My virtue is respect. Everyone should strive to develop a sense of respectfulness because it'll help people have an easier time in life. Respect is the feeling of admiration for someone or something by their abilities, qualities, or accomplishments. If everyone had respect, life would be less stressful, more simple, and there'd be less issues in the world.
Respect's genus is kindness. All kindness is respectful. All people are kind. Therefore, all people are respectful. If everyone was kind to one another, everybody would end up being respectful eventually. If one person starts being kind, they could inspire more people to be kind. Sooner or later, the whole world would be kind. With kindness comes respect. When everyone has respect, everyone will be virtuous.
Respect is a unique virtue, so it doesn't overlap with any of the other virtues mentioned in class. There are a few characteristics of respect that you wouldn't find in other virtues. One of them is caring. When you respect for someone or something, you care for them as well. You don't necessarily need to care for anything if you are pious, wise, or honest. Respect is on its own when it comes to some characteristics.
Being respectful is more important than being wise. When you are respectful, you have a better chance of having a good life. This means you can get what you want, people will like you, and you could be very successful. When you are wise, you are smart. Wisdom won't necessarily bring you the perfect life. You may not get what you want when your wise, but with respect, you have a better chance.
Respect is a virtue that everyone should acquire. Respect will get you places in life that many other virtues won't. If everyone is respectful, life will be many times easier than it is now.
